التخطيط الوظيفي يتعلق بالفطنة وبعد النظر متضمنا إلى حد ما القدرة على التنبؤ بالمستقبل. إن بعض المخاطر الوظيفية هي متوقعة، مثل: اتجاهات السوق وأنماط شراء المستهلك، ولكن مخاطر الجائحة ليست كذلك، وكنتيجة لذلك فإن كثيرا من عواقب كوفيد ١٩ الاقتصادية كانت مفاجئة، مؤدية إلى ضربة اقتصادية لقطاع عريض من القوى العاملة.

صحيح أن كثيرا من الموظفين لديهم القدرة على العمل عن بعد، ولكنّ الكل ليس محظوظا بذلك. إن أولئك الذين تم تسريحهم أو إبعادهم لا إراديا يختبرون عواقب سلبية على الصعيدين المالي والانفعالي، وما يجعل الأمور أسوأ من منظور الصحة النفسية هو أنهم لم يكونوا يتوقعون ذلك.

العواقب الشعورية للإفلاس المفاجئ:إن الأمان الوظيفي جزء مهم من الحياة الوظيفية، سواء كنت موظفا جديدا أو بعمل مؤقت، وعندما يسحب البساط من تحتك ماليا فإن السقوط يكون سريعا ومؤلما، وهنالك مشاعر مشتركة للذين أصبحوا حديثا عاطلين عن العمل هم وعائلاتهم، ولا غرابة إذا ما ارتبطت تلك المشاعر بالقلق والاكتئاب.

توصل ميجان فورد وآخرون ( 2019 ) عبر الملاحظة العملية من النظرة العلاجية للمشاكل المالية ومشاكل الصحة النفسية أن هنالك أدلة تشير إلى وجود علاقة وثيقة بين الأزمات المالية والاكتئاب، خاصة أنهم وجدوا عن طريق عينة إكلينيكية أنه يمكن توقع الأزمات المالية عبر الاكتئاب، كما يمكن توقع الاكتئاب عبر الأزمات كذلك.

أجرى ريتشارد وآخرون دراسة بعنوان ” روابط في تتابع المحن الناتجة عن فقدان الوظيفة” مستخدمين نماذج لحالات التوتر؛ لكشف العلاقة بين فقدان الوظيفة والاكتئاب، والعلاقة اللاحقة بين الاكتئاب وانخفاض الأداء الشخصي والصحة المتدهورة. بدراستهم ل ٧٥٦ شخصا ممن فقدوا وظائفهم وجد الباحثون أن هنالك اثنين من العوامل الوسيطة، مما يطلق عليهما “سلسة المصاعب”، بداية من فقدان الوظيفة وحتى ضعف الصحة والأداء. ذلك العاملان هما: انخفاض ضبط الذات والضغط المالي. بناء على التأثيرات النفسية لهذه العوامل فإن الباحثين وجدوا أن الضغط المالي هو العامل الوسيط بين فقدان الوظيفة والاكتئاب وضبط النفس، وأن انخفاض ضبط النفس يتوسط التأثيرات السلبية للاكتئاب والضغط المالي على ضعف الأداء ويتبعها ضعف الصحة، خصوصا أن الباحثين يقترحون أن فقدان ضبط النفس هو مسار لتحول الضائقة المالية إلى مشاكل الصحة المزمنة وضعف الدور والأداء العاطفي.

إن إحدى الطرق للحفاظ على الصحة والأمل، إثر البطالة المفاجئة وغير الإرادية هي التدخل السريع. إن الكثير من العاملين غير محصنين من الآثار العاطفية المباشرة نتيجة فقدانهم غير المتوقع للوظيفة، والبحث عن المساعدة تجاه الشعور بالحزن الشديد والاكتئاب في بداية هذه الفترة من الأزمة المالية والشك قد تمنع أعراضا أشد للاكتئاب والقلق في المستقبل. في الجانب المقابل فإن المساندة والمساعدة ودعم الأصدقاء والأسر التي أصبحت عاطلة مؤخرا يمكن أن يعجل بالمرونة واسترداد العافية.

هنالك دراسة أفصحت أن التسريح اللاإرادي من الوظيفة من الممكن أن يؤدي إلى إظهار أعراض من الحزن المعقد والقلق والاكتئاب، حيث درس جانسكي وآخرون ( 2020 ) 128 موظفا هولنديا ممن فقدوا وظائفهم خلال عام، ووجدوا أن الحزن المعقد خلال فترة زمنية أساسية أدى للقلق والاكتئاب خلال ٦ شهور، والعكس صحيح، وهذا يظهر أهمية التدخل السريع لاستهداف أعراض الحزن المعقد، الناتج من فقدان الوظيفة المفاجئ، كي يتم منع حصول القلق والاكتئاب مستقبلا.

إن التأكد من التدخل المبكر مهم من الناحية الصحية؛ لأن أعراض الاكتئاب تتسبب غالبا بخسائر نفسية وجسدية، وهذا قد يكون صحيحا خاصة عندما تكون خسارة الوظيفة بشكل مفاجئ في وقت كثير ومتاح بشكل مفتوح، مع قليل من الحافز لاستغلاله بفاعلية. صحيح أن بعض الموظفين قد يسعون نحو العمل محاولين تلميع سيرتهم الذاتية والحصول على فرص وظيفية إلا أن آخرين لا يقدرون على إخراج ذلك الحافز.

سواء كنت موظفا مطرودا أم في إجازة لا إرادية فإن من فقدوا وظائفهم بسبب أزمة كوفيد ١٩ يحتجون بأنهم ليسوا في مزاج يسمح لهم بالتركيز على أنفسهم لتطويرها، ولكن عليهم التركيز على تحسين مزاجهم بداية، وكأحباء وأصدقاء وعائلة فإننا نقدم الدعم والتفهم والمساندة لهؤلاء الذين يبحثون عن وظائف جديدة. هذه الهبات العاطفية التي لا تقدر بثمن في هذا الوقت العصيب قد تعين هؤلاء العاطلين على الشروع لاستعادة أنفسهم، على الصعيدين المالي والعاطفي.
